Table Lighting

Table lighting is important for every interior as it helps to achieve different levels of lighting. Table lamps create mood and atmosphere as well as being used for task lighting. Table lighting can also be used to distinguish different areas of a room - for example a relaxed area in an open plan space or office.

In today’s fast paced world, more people are recognising the need for a place to relax and promote wellbeing. A quiet corner with a cosy armchair and a table lamp can make a real  difference.

Table lighting can also be used to express your personality and taste - bringing anything from formality, simplicity, artistic design or an injection of character into a room.

The Vitra Akari 1A light sculpture is part of a beautiful range of paper lanterns, designed in various shapes and styles, that suit any number of spaces. By using these table lights you can create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The Gubi Bestlite BL2 table light is an iconic piece originally designed by Robert Dudley Best in 1930. This is a brilliant example of a classic table light which can be used anywhere - from a desk to a bedside table or armchair table.

If you are looking to add some glamour to an interior, the Kartell Bourgie light by Ferruccio Laviani. The baroque style base is composed of three interconnecting decorated layers, while the large lampshade is made with a pleated effect, to create a myriad play of reflections when the lamp is turned on.

There are also some renowned table lighting designs within our collection - take a look at the Flos Miss Sissi table light - one of Philippe Starck's early pieces from the 90s which is still popular today.
