Floor Lighting

Floor lighting offers a welcome alternative to fixed home lighting, with no fitting required and the flexibility to move your lights  around to different areas of the room, or room to room as needed. When choosing floor lighting it is important to think about the purpose of the lighting - whether it will be used for mood lighting, work or reading.

There are many stunning designs in our floor lighting collection. Take a look at the Flos Arco floor light by Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni which was first released in 1962. This iconic light has become a design masterpiece.

The Foscarini Tuareg floor light by Ferruccio Laviani is another sculptural design providing the aesthetic beauty of a work of art alongside the practical purpose of the lighting itself.

The Vitra Akari UF4-33N light sculpture is just one of the magnificent light sculptures by Isamu Noguchi, designed in 1951. The Japanese word 'akari' means ‘light brightness’. These floor lights create a soft, ethereal light for atmospheric lighting, as well as providing ample light to move around your home with their paper and bamboo structure. Even unlit, these iconic paper lamps are stunning pieces of artwork that will serve to decorate your room.

The Foscarini Twice as Twiggy floor light by Marc Sadler for Foscarini is an ‘oversized’ version of the legendary Twiggy which retains the lightness and flexibility of the original. You can move this floor light easily around your home.

Floor lighting can also provide targeted lighting for a specific purpose. The Artemide Tolomeo floor reading light by Neil Poulton offers an infinitely adjustable lamp which is both stylish and practical.

The spectacular Flos Superloon floor light by Jasper Morrison is a stunning sculpture, as well as a practical reading light.
