Louis Poulsen Floor Lights

Founded in Denmark in 1874, Louis Poulsen is now a leading supplier of architectural lighting worldwide. The Louis Poulsen lighting philosophy can be summed up in 2 words - function and ambience.

Designed in conjunction with architects, each lighting design adheres to a strict product philosophy which is grounded in simplicity - every element used in a lighting design must serve a light-related purpose.

A design icon, the Louis Poulsen AJ floor lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960, for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The lamp emits a soft downward light making it the perfect reading light. You can adjust the angle of the shade to suit you.

Available in a choice of ten colours, each with a soft white finish to the inside of the shade, you’ll find the perfect colour to match your interior decor. Combine with the matching AJ table lamp for a striking lighting design concept in your home.

The Louis Poulsen Panthella floor lamp forms part of a collection from Verner Panton, a Danish artist and designer whose work revolutionised light function.

The ergonomic design of the lamp shapes the light, emitting a direct, glare-free horizontal light, whilst reflecting some light through the rear of the shade.  The mechanical system allows you to adjust the angle of the light so it is always exactly where you need it.

Designed by Japanese minimalist designer Nendo, the simple, striking Louis Poulsen NJP floor lamp is available in classic black or white finishes, for a minimal, monochrome lighting choice.
