Knoll Chairs

Established in New York in 1938, Knoll was founded by Hans and Florence Knoll. The brand was based on the Bauhaus philosophy that modern furniture should complement architectural space, rather than compete with it.

Knoll chairs - whether dining chairs or side chairs - make a true statement in any room of your home.

The iconic Knoll Barcelona chair - designed by Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe for Knoll - is a classic lounge chair. The timeless design is synonymous with Knoll and their quality craftsmanship.

The chair features curved tubular polished stainless steel legs and a quilted leather seat and backrest. The seat comprises of 40 individual hand cut panels made from a single cow hide, each finished with a leather button to provide a quilted effect.

The Knoll Saarinen Tulip chair is often imitated as an icon of seating design. Created by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1955, the curved shape of the chair is supremely comfortable.

The cast aluminium base and matching shell is available in either black or white, with the upholstered seat cushion available in a choice of colours and fabrics. Choose from a swivel or fixed base.

The classic design of the Knoll Tulip chair works perfectly with the Knoll Saarinen Tulip table.

The Knoll Saarinen Womb chair was the first piece of mass produced furniture to feature a seat shell made from reinforced plastic. Designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1948, the chair was developed following a request from Florence Knoll, who wanted a chair she could ‘curl up in’.
