Kartell Stools

Kartell originally produced household goods, car accessories and lighting, before beginning to produce furniture. Since it was established in Italy in 1949, the brand has grown into one of the most successful furniture and lighting companies worldwide.

Kartell founder Giulio Castelli challenged himself to bring plastic into the home, which he achieved by conducting technological experiments and focusing on the versatility of the material for use in furniture design.

Whether it’s occasional seating in your living room or everyday stools for your kitchen island, the range of Kartell bar stools will ensure you can seat every guest in true Italian style.

Designed by Philippe Starck, the Kartell Charles Ghost stool is inspired by traditional Victorian stools from the 1800s. The high seat design is constructed from a single block of transparent polycarbonate - reminiscent of Kartell founder Giulio Castelli’s desire to bring plastic into the home.

Available in a choice of three heights and seven colours, this versatile Kartell stool is ideal placed at your kitchen island, or equally at home in your dining room.

A tribute to the iconic Kartell Masters chair, the Kartell Masters stool was designed by Philippe Starck with Eugeni Quitllet for Kartell. The lengthened legs and shrunken seat combine to form the signature graphic look of the stool, which weaves together the silhouettes of chairs.

Designed by Ettore Sottsass for Kartell in 2015, the Kartell Colonna stool is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Choose from 5 colours and group the stools or use on as a striking statement in your bedroom or living room. This versatile design can also function as a side table.
