Kartell Chairs

Founded in Italy in 1949, Kartell originally produced household goods, car accessories and lighting, before beginning to design and produce furniture. The brand has now grown into one of the most successful furniture and lighting companies worldwide.

Kartell founder Giulio Castelli challenged himself to bring plastic into the home, which he achieved by conducting technological experiments and focusing on the versatility of the material for use in furniture design.

Renowned for pushing the boundaries of design through form and materials, a Kartell chair is original, striking yet highly functional.

Designed by Philippe Starck in 2003, the Kartell Louis Ghost chair is iconic. The famous design incorporates Baroque styling with modern perspex material to fuse old and new. This versatile Kartell chair makes a statement placed on its own in your bedroom or bathroom, or why not alternate colours around your dining table?

The Kartell Maui chair is a versatile design which is available in a number of styles. Designed by Vico Magistretti, the Maui chair is ideal for your office or study.

Choose the classic Kartell Maui swivel armchair with its light, comfortable seat and 5 castors for ultimate ease of movement. The Kartell Maui armchair replicates the instantly recognisable design, replacing the original castors with chrome legs.

The Kartell Super Impossible chair - also designed by Philippe Starck for Kartell - is renowned for its egg-shaped seat. Known as ‘the little armchair’, this versatile chair is equally at home in your hallway as it is in your dining room.
