Gubi Stools

Since 1967, the Gubi brand has been on a quest as a ‘treasure hunter’, seeking to create furniture that blends past, present and future using innovative techniques which defy time. The brand now has a dedicated following and an admiration from designers and architects across the globe.

This continual quest for beauty and innovation is evident in the design of the Gubi 3D Bar Stool, designed by Komplot Design. The first to use the ground-breaking technique of moulding three-dimensional veneer, this Gubi bar stool has the perfect combination of a comfortable seat with a delicacy and lightness.

With a choice of different colours and bases you can match the stools to your interior design perfectly. The design has received many awards and is included in the permanent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

Another striking Gubi stool is the Gubi Leroy A3 stool, designed by Danish-French designer Paul Leroy. The steady base of the stool is designed in the shape of an ‘A’, with the seat the same dimensions as an A3 sized sheet of paper. This classic Gubi stool combines ingenious  design with quality and practicality.

The ingenuity of the team of Gubi designers is shown in the structure of their designs - creating comfort, strength and durability alongside aesthetic style. If you have ever perched uncomfortably on a bar stool you will know that it is unusual to find one that you can sit at for longer periods of time. With the Gubi stools, comfort is paramount - and this is key to the continued success of the designs.
