Fatboy

In 1998, Finnish designer Jukka Setälä enjoyed designing his own beanbags and was inspired by listening to the musician and DJ Fatboy Slim when he conceived an idea for the Fatboy name and brand.

Fatboy are now known over the world for their iconic bold and oversized bean bags and the Fatboy family has grown to encompass Fatboy furniture, large, comfortable hammocks, carpets, inflatables and offbeat, fun lighting.

The Fatboy brand doesn’t follow fashion, it simply aims for feel-good. This bold confidence in leading its own way makes Fatboy designs timeless.

The Fatboy original beanbag is still a firm favourite, suiting any interior with a range of 19 colours. The beans fit perfectly to the contours of your body for the ultimate comfort. It is hard to imagine a time before the Fatboy beanbag as the design has become synonymous with the image of a beanbag, but before Fatboy, beanbags were an awkward shape - so small and round and it was hard to get comfy! Such a versatile concept, the shape of this design allows you to sit, lounge or lie down in comfort.

No member of the family is left out of the Fatboy range, with the  Fatboy junior beanbag designed with the knowledge that children will push the material to the limit. Then there is the Fatboy Doggie Lounge, providing your four legged loved ones the opportunity to relax and indulge in the bed they deserve.

The quality of the Fatboy range is the best and is made to last - deliberately designing with indestructible fabrics which are dirt repellent and waterproofing for outdoor use as well as indoor where they can.

Fatboy are always ahead of the pack. Take the Lamzac by Fatboy - a large air bed that you can fill rapidly without any pump. Deflate it within seconds, fold it and stack it in the tiny backpack. Not only is it highly practical and easy to use, but it feels like you are floating on a cloud! The Lamza caused a huge buzz on release in 2015 - so much so that Fatboy filed for their design to be patented so that there can be no imitations.

The Fatboy range is now sold in over 60 countries, with Fatboy UK being a popular market with some Union Jack inspired designs.
