Artek 403 Armchair "Hallway"

The 403 Hallway Armchair was designed as a part of his collection for the tuberculosis sanatorium in Paimio. The chair was created in different colour variants and designed to be stackable to add to their versatility. Aalto's love of curved forms is clearly apparent in the flow of the seat and back rest, the result is a beautiful chair that came from a very functional concept.
