Eames Lounge Chair

The Eames Lounge (670) is the most recognisable of the Eames Chairs. Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, and released in 1956 with its companion the Eames Ottoman (671). Constructed from moulded plywood and upholstered in leather. The Eames Lounge Chair appears in the television series ‘Frasier’ and also in the series ‘House’.

Eames Plastic Chairs

Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in the 1950s the plastic chairs were first presented in New York as part of a Modern Art competition.
